Makeability Lab High School Researcher Selected to Attend American Junior Academy of Science
Congratulations to Makeability Lab High School intern, Aditya Sengupta, who was one of 11 students selected to serve as 2025 WA State delegates at the American Junior Academy of Science. Aditya was selected for his work on "LeAF: Leveraging Convolutional Neural Networks for Plant Anomaly Detection and Classification for Farmers with Large Language Models for Natural Language Interaction", which he conducted independently and in addition to his research in our group. During his time with the Makeability Lab, Aditya worked on AI-assisted vision for mixed visual-ability families.
