This summer, Makeability Lab PhD student Chu Li will be a visiting scientist in Professor Andres Sevtsuk's City Form Lab at MIT. The City Form Lab is a leading research group in examining how to make city environments more walkable, sustainable, an equitable by bridging the fields of urban design, spatial analytics, and mobility research. Chu will be working with Andres and his students on pedestrian network analysis for different mobility ability groups.
Professor Sevtsuk is the author of two books: “Street Commerce: Creating Vibrant Urban Sidewalks” with Penn Press and before that, "Urban Network Analysis: Tools for Modeling Walking and Biking in Cities" with Tianjin University Press.
