Makeability Lab at the Post-CHI Miraikan Accessibility Networking Event

The Miraikan museum building. A modern oval shaped building with a sleek glass exterior.

Arnavi, Chu, and Jared attended a networking event for accessibility researchers hosted by the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (or Miraikan) in Tokyo, following CHI 2025. Attendees were invited to give two minute lightning talks (pictured below), with networking coffee breaks interspersed and a reception afterwards.

Attendees were also given time to explore the museum and its interactive exhibits such as the Park of Aging, exploring how our senses change as we grow older, and Quantum Computer Disco, using music to show off quantum gates and superposition.

Thank you for the great networking opportunities, Miraikan!
